Good Morning, and Happy New Year!
Today, as you read in the title I’ll be reviewing the bronze palette, Kyshadow. I received this as a Birthday gift back in October, and wanted to do a review as soon as I got it, but I decided to use it more and play around with the colors more to see if it is worth the hype.
On the website, the palette is described as: Contains: 1 Kyshadow pressed powder eye shadow palette (net weight / pods net 9 X 1.40 grams / 9 X 0.05 oz).
I’ll do the Pro’s and Con’s for this kit and give you my personal opinion of it at the end.
Pro’s:
- The shadows are universal for everyday look
- Great formula (creamy powders)
- Build-able to get more pigment
- Travel-friendly
Con’s:
- Hard to get a hold of it (there is always a limit when buying)
- Some fall out with the darker colors
- No mirror, (however for me, it doesn’t bother me)
- Too Pricey (the palette is not pricey but shipping is in my case)
- No refunds or returns
Personal Opinion:
I personal, love this palette, I think this is my holy grail for shadows, it has all the shadows that I use on a daily basis, and I can also use them for going out. I will admit that I was against buying it for so long, because I just didn’t have faith in it, I thought it’s just a horrible palette with Kylie’s name on it. Like I said on top that I received this as a gift, and to be honest with you, I would probable never have bought one if I didn’t get it as a gift. I really do love this palette and I can’t put it away and use something else. The colors on this specific palette are very warm toned, and when I wear them to the office I can control how much pigment I want, and it just looks natural and presentable. The only thing that is a problem for her line is the shipping, it cost half the price of most products and to be honest paying USD $42 for a palette and then $15 for shipping cost way too much for someone who lives in Canada like me 😦 I read somewhere that she is working on fixing the shipping and also getting a return policy so we just have to wait till that happens. Anyways, Do I think it’s worth the Hype? Yes! I do… I do really love it.
Let me know in the comments below, what you think about Kyshadows, or if you want me to do a makeup tutorial using the palette for an everyday natural look?
That palette is gorgeous! and I love your blog btw, xx
