BUXOM FULL-ON – LIP CREAM

Hello and welcome back,

Today’s review will be about Buxom’s lip cream/gloss. This review will be short today, because I’ve had a really busy week and I didn’t really prep for this review. Sorry ❤

What it is:
A creamy, no-shimmer lip gloss with a tingling, plumping effect.

What it does:
No shimmer or glimmer—just creamy, glass-smooth gloss, decadent color, intoxicating shine, and famous tingle for a gentle plumping effect. Encapsulated hyaluronic spheres infuse lips with moisture while vitamins A and E help keep them supple, protected, and extra kissable.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Phthalates

This gloss is all I use, I threw all my other glosses out, I don’t think I can ever find a better one. The texture of the formula is a light-medium in thickness, creamy, and reasonably tacky. The Lip Cream settles into lip lines, whenever I have a bad lip day, either they are dry or just not plumpy I usually apply my chapstick and then the lip cream/ gloss and honestly it fades away any dry texture on my lips.  They’re true to the “no-shimmer” part of the description. I use this product almost every day. It does have a slight Plumping effect but it is not overwhelming like others can be (there isn’t much of a sensation). The colors are beautiful, but my favorite in the one I took a picture of and it is the Dolly. This leaves my lips feeling soft and moisturized. My more detailed review video is below.

Three Dark Crowns Book Review

hello my lovelies,

Today post is a little bit different then my usual posts. I saw that I haven’t reviewed a book in a long time, and I thought that I should start doing that again. I was event so close to record a video and do a book review, but my shyness got the best of me and just was happy with what I recorded. Moving on, if you guys are interested let me know in the comments below if you want me to do a book review in a video. Back to the book review, today I want to review Three Dark Crowns, I’m sure you’ve heard of it, and if not then this post is for you. I should mention that this will be spoiler free.

The Story is about, triplet sisters, three queens, essentially competing for the throne.  Katharine, Arsinoe and Mirabella each live in different parts of the land, each have a different power, and each have a different group of supporters aiding them. Each sister has to fight for THE CROWN. And it’s not just a game of win or loses…it’s a life or death. The night the sisters turn sixteen, the battle begins.

In this case, Katharine is a poisoner who wields deadly cocktails; Arsinoe is a naturalist – at one with nature and animals – and not very good at it (nobody expects her to win the throne); Mirabella is an elemental and clearly the strongest of the three, her powers by far the most developed.

When kingdom come, there will be one.

My Thoughts,

You have to admit, that sounds pretty evil and … amazing! I wish it held up to its story, I felt the concept is already strong, but it felt boring in the first half. The second half of the book, I got so interested, and because I fell asleep reading the first half I forgot some of the characters names that I actually went back and forth. However, there is a good side to this book, and there is a light. The ending is very amazing, and you should keep reading it until you get to the ending.  The story is actually darker then you think, some parts were so predicted but it still got me like  21969057

Rating: 3.5/5 stars! Interesting after the second half

Let me know if you read this book or if your interested in reading it, and if you already have, who was your favorite queen?

My Thoughts;

I used it more than few times, I used it only once with a primer, I wore it to work for 12 hours without a primer and it did not move. The primer made the colors pop more, but honestly speaking I will only use primer if I have the time. The pigmentation is so amazing, and it’s creamy and easily slides on the eyelid. The colors are all wearable, and most importantly the color Zuri, can be used as a highlighter, been doing it for 2 weeks now.

TOO FACED SKETCH MARKER

Hello my Beauties,

36

Today, I’ll be reviewing the Too Faced Sketch Marker Liquid Art Eyeliners that were inspired by Japanese calligraphy pens.  The Too Faced Sketch Markers are 100% waterproof and smudge proof yet they are easy to remove with makeup remover. Let’s get into the review…

35

This is how Sephora describes the product:

Sketch Marker is an innovative liquid eyeliner that’s inspired by Japanese calligraphy pens. Its formula acts as an artist’s best drawing ink so you can effortlessly create paintbrush-like strokes for daytime to dramatic cat eyes and everything in between. Its waterproof formula will not fade or feather, and it features an array of soft pastels to bold pop art shades. Wear just a single color or layer together shades to create a double eyeliner work of art.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:

– Parabens

– Sulfates

– Phthalates

What else you need to know:

This product is gluten-free and cruelty-free. Most shades are vegan-friendly (Deep Lilac and Candy Pink are not vegan).

Available at Sephora & TooFaced.com ~ $26.00CAD

There is a wide range of adorable colours of this liner for you to be creative with. I only have the black one because I couldn’t a find good eyeliner without making my eyes tear up and my wing ends up being a square or a circle because it smudges. This liner is very easy to apply and is long lasting! With the flexible tip you can easily create thin lines, thick lines, and any various sized lines by simply adjusting the angle. You must shake it before using it, because if you don’t the brush might skip, and that means that there isn’t enough liquid on it; therefore, it will dry out.

Pros:

  • long wearing
  • waterproof
  • smudgeable
  • pigmented
  • easy to use
  • smooth

Cons:

  • Price too high
  • Dries out, so take good care of it

And there you have it! Please let me know if you’ve tried the sketch marker and if you liked it or not. I want to know what you think of it.
