Three Dark Crowns Book Review

hello my lovelies,

Today post is a little bit different then my usual posts. I saw that I haven’t reviewed a book in a long time, and I thought that I should start doing that again. I was event so close to record a video and do a book review, but my shyness got the best of me and just was happy with what I recorded. Moving on, if you guys are interested let me know in the comments below if you want me to do a book review in a video. Back to the book review, today I want to review Three Dark Crowns, I’m sure you’ve heard of it, and if not then this post is for you. I should mention that this will be spoiler free.

The Story is about, triplet sisters, three queens, essentially competing for the throne.  Katharine, Arsinoe and Mirabella each live in different parts of the land, each have a different power, and each have a different group of supporters aiding them. Each sister has to fight for THE CROWN. And it’s not just a game of win or loses…it’s a life or death. The night the sisters turn sixteen, the battle begins.

In this case, Katharine is a poisoner who wields deadly cocktails; Arsinoe is a naturalist – at one with nature and animals – and not very good at it (nobody expects her to win the throne); Mirabella is an elemental and clearly the strongest of the three, her powers by far the most developed.

When kingdom come, there will be one.

My Thoughts,

You have to admit, that sounds pretty evil and … amazing! I wish it held up to its story, I felt the concept is already strong, but it felt boring in the first half. The second half of the book, I got so interested, and because I fell asleep reading the first half I forgot some of the characters names that I actually went back and forth. However, there is a good side to this book, and there is a light. The ending is very amazing, and you should keep reading it until you get to the ending.  The story is actually darker then you think, some parts were so predicted but it still got me like  21969057

Rating: 3.5/5 stars! Interesting after the second half

Let me know if you read this book or if your interested in reading it, and if you already have, who was your favorite queen?

The Korean beauty haul

hello008

As you may know something about me, it’s that I love Korean products and cute packaging. The standards for a product to me becomes higher when the packaging is so cute. Today I’m going to show you some of the products I got when I was in NYC and some online. I tried all these products, they smell great and feel amazing. Lets get into the haul

I love my skin care items, and so all I have is skin care lol.

These 2 hand/body creams are so divine, they smell amazing and the cream gets absorbed pretty fast. I got these 2 from the body shop, they come in three, but I gave one away to my sister.

How cute is this? I’m doing it again getting obsessed with the packaging. This hand cream is amazing, a little goes along way, it smells like banana’s literally, and the it keeps your hands soft. I love applying it on, it’s not sticky it’s very air like feeling. This is from Tony Moly and its called Banana Hand Milk. you can get it on Amazing Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk

This is a lipbalm and I got this as a free gift, isn’t that amazing? again the packing is awesome, the product however not a huge fan. This is in the berry flavour, and it smells divine. This is also from Tony Moly and its called Kiss Kiss Lip Essence Balm

My sunscreen was almost done, so I decided to try a korean brand for sun screen. I understand how Koreans are with their sun block, it might be way to over board but it works and they have an amazing skin. I tried it on, its very oily, like a typical sunscreen, but it gets absorbed fast and the smell of it is a little faint to what usual sunscreen smells like. The one I have is spf 35, but I think I will get the spf50 in the summer. Totally recommend this.

Lastly, my Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture ALOE VERA 92% GEL. This stuff is amazing, again it smells amazing, there is a lot of it and it dries super quick. its great for everything in your body. It is free from paraben, mineral oil and artificial colors and meant to be a moisturizer for various parts of the body like the face, the arms, the legs or even the hair and nails. you can find this also on amazon Here

To conclude, I hope you enjoyed looking at my Korean obsession with skin care. Let me know if you have an obsession with any certain products, or brand that you just cant stop yourself from buying. Love to hear from you guys, love you and talk to you soon ❤

BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette Review

Good Morning Beauties,

As you may have known in 2016, this was the most talked about highlighting palette.  The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection sold out online within a day. I was working the day it was launched and I knew I needed to get my hands on it no matter what. I had my sister wake up early and buy one for the both of us! Some may think that being Jaclyn’s fan might have make my review biased but I believe in Jaclyn because she is the most trusted beauty blogger on YouTube. I’ve been using this palette for a fair amount of time now and wanted to share my thoughts.

PLANNING A BIG WEDDING (Part 1)

I am going to make several topics on Wedding Planning. As you know I got married to my Prince on May 22, 2016, and this planning was a roller coaster ride, I learned a lot, and stressed a lot. Being a Bride is hard, I used to find it weird when Brides are crampy, or emotional, or even mean. Listen, to the Brides to be out there that are reading this, everything at the end will work out, don’t stress the small things or the big things, you will be fine and you will be the most beautiful bride on your day. So, now let me go through what I will discuss in today’s topic, which is How Do I Start?

How do I Start planning the most amazing day of my life?

WHAT YOU NEED?

o Pens
o Wedding Planner/ Binder
o Wedding Magazines
o Pinterest Account

THE 3 MOST IMPORTANT STEPS

1. Pick a Venue – Picking a Venue, can basically round up your budget, because it will be the most expensive thing that you MOST HAVE.
2. Figure out your budget – From the previous point above, you can now estimate what your budget will be, also the amount of guest you will be inviting.
3. Pick the date picking the wedding date is hard, because you need to know when you should have your wedding, and if you are thinking of spending less you can chose between Fridays and Sundays. If you don’t care, then you can go with Saturday, also keep in mind the weather. For me, I want it to be a nice weather not too hot and not too cold and thought May is the prettiest months here in Canada. Also, Photography depends on a nice day, someone told me before that when it’s too sunny out the photos don’t come out as nice, also all the brides imperfections come out (Aka concealed acne). Don’t pick a date that’s closer than 6 – 8 months, give yourself time to plan it, because trust me when you rush plan anything it will show.

So now that you know what you need to keep in mind, you can start planning everything based on these 3 things, because, these won’t change, or hopefully won’t change.
