Huda Beauty Limited Edition Rose Gold Palette Review

Hello my Beauties,

As you read in my title today I’ll be doing a review and swatches of the Huda Beauty Limited Edition Rose Gold Palette. I’m not sure why I decided to review all the limited edition Palettes this month but I hope you take something from my reviews. For anyone who doesn’t know “Huda Beauty” is by a beauty influencer Huda Kattan and her sisters Alya and Mona Kattan. Her brand became famous first from her lashes, AMAZING LASHES. This palette came out on November 1 2016, about 3 months ago. I’ve heard that it might come back to stock at Sephora. So if your interested in know about this palette then keep reading…

This is how Sephora describes the product:

“This palette contains:
– 6 x 0.035 oz/ 0.99 g 3D Metal eye shadow in Dubai (smoky bronze), Fling (sparkly cranberry), 24K (lavish gold), Rose Gold (rose gold), Trust Fund (ritzy copper), Blessed (vintage gold)
– 2 x 0.035 oz/ 0.99 g Chromatic pressed pearls eye shadow in Angelic (sweet pink with gold reflections), Moon Dust (astral gold illumination)
– 10 x 0.035 oz/ 0.99 g Saturated Matte eye shadow in Bossy (bold maroon clay), Flamingo (dashing pink), Shy (delicate dusty pink), BAE (cream-colored base), Black Truffle (decadent black), Suede (smooth transition gray), Coco (bark brown), Maneater (ruthless mulberry), Henna (warm reddish-brown), Sandalwood (earthy deep tan)” [Sephora]

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Phthalates

My insight on this palette:

What drew me into this palette, is the mixture of shades. Even though it advertised as “Rose Gold Palette”, it still has a mixture of mattes that you can use as either transition colors for for a natural look. The top row can scare a lot of people, but with a lot of practice these are pretty amazing. I’ll leave my verdict at the end but for now lets get to the Pto’s and Con’s;

  • Unique
  • Portable, light weight
  • a mix of saturated mattes, chrome pressed pearls, and 3D metal shadows
  • Creamy & Pigmented

  • Fall out from the metals shades (she recommends to use your fingers for easier application)
  • Packaging
  • Price tag

Swatches of the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette;

For some odd reason, I cant find my swatches for the matte colors, I’ll update the post once I know where it went or I might have to redo it 😦

My Verdict on this palette,  Aside from the packaging, and the fall out from the metal shades… I believe this Palette needs more credit, the shadows are creamy, blendable, versatile and the pigmentation is amazing. The price tag form some is a bit too much, but if you don’t own a palette that you can use for weddings, or work then I highly recommend buying this palette once it goes back on stock.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review, and I would love to hear your feedback. Sorry I didn’t post anything yesterday, it was a hectic day. If you guys want me to do an eye look using this palette, let me know in the comments below.
