PLANNING A BIG WEDDING (Part 1)

I am going to make several topics on Wedding Planning. As you know I got married to my Prince on May 22, 2016, and this planning was a roller coaster ride, I learned a lot, and stressed a lot. Being a Bride is hard, I used to find it weird when Brides are crampy, or emotional, or even mean. Listen, to the Brides to be out there that are reading this, everything at the end will work out, don’t stress the small things or the big things, you will be fine and you will be the most beautiful bride on your day. So, now let me go through what I will discuss in today’s topic, which is How Do I Start?

How do I Start planning the most amazing day of my life?

WHAT YOU NEED?

o Pens
o Wedding Planner/ Binder
o Wedding Magazines
o Pinterest Account

THE 3 MOST IMPORTANT STEPS

1. Pick a Venue – Picking a Venue, can basically round up your budget, because it will be the most expensive thing that you MOST HAVE.
2. Figure out your budget – From the previous point above, you can now estimate what your budget will be, also the amount of guest you will be inviting.
3. Pick the date picking the wedding date is hard, because you need to know when you should have your wedding, and if you are thinking of spending less you can chose between Fridays and Sundays. If you don’t care, then you can go with Saturday, also keep in mind the weather. For me, I want it to be a nice weather not too hot and not too cold and thought May is the prettiest months here in Canada. Also, Photography depends on a nice day, someone told me before that when it’s too sunny out the photos don’t come out as nice, also all the brides imperfections come out (Aka concealed acne). Don’t pick a date that’s closer than 6 – 8 months, give yourself time to plan it, because trust me when you rush plan anything it will show.

So now that you know what you need to keep in mind, you can start planning everything based on these 3 things, because, these won’t change, or hopefully won’t change.
